Pentex Advisory Services, LLC was formed in 2007 to assist companies with due diligence activities associated with the acquisition or divestiture of assets in the energy sector. Our specialty is midstream energy company assets such as natural gas gathering and transmission pipelines.

Pentex Advisory Services, LLC (Pentex Advisors) was founded in 2007 by Mr. John Daugherty. Mr. Daugherty has spent over 25 years in the energy industry in a variety of areas including production, compression and dehydration, natural gas marketing and supply acquisition, NYMEX hedging, transportation, gas control, systems balancing, rate case management, acquisition and divestiture of assets, financial modeling and due diligence coordination.

Mr. Daugherty was one of the original five management team members of Crosstex Energy, L.P. and Crosstex Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: XTEX and XTXI, respectively) and helped the company grow from nine employees to well over 600 with an enterprise value of over $1 billion as of 2007 when he left.

Mr. Daugherty holds a B.S in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineeering from Penn State University and has served as President of four non-profit organizations including the Natural Gas and Electric Power Society of North Texas as well as founding one. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is currently serving as Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Murphy, TX.

Pentex Advisors is located in Murphy, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
